Hotel Saint-Patrick

I stayed for three nights in this pleasant and simple hotel located in the historic center of Nantes. They were very kind to me because they allowed me to enter the room at 1:00 PM, even though check-in is after 4:00 PM. The room was very simple but clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured excellent sleep quality. The bathroom was renovated and had a window. I had not opted for breakfast, but the manager invited me for a coffee and a madeleine every morning. My room was on the fifth floor and the building lacks an elevator, but the steps were not too steep and taking the stairs is good for leg blood circulation. If there are rooms available, there are very affordable last-minute offers for those who arrive at the last moment without a reservation.

Two nights at the Hotel Saint Patrick, the person at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating; he offered us a better room following the cancellation of other guests. The room was clean; it obviously wasn’t grand luxury but very decent, the budget is really accessible for people passing through. The value for money is unbeatable, I recommend it.

Hotel St. Patrick in Nantes is not your typical tourist hotel — it’s a place for true travellers. From the moment you step inside, you can feel its unique spirit. With its bohemian charm, vintage touches, and soulful atmosphere, this hotel has more personality than many people you’ll meet on the road. The location is unbeatable, nestled right in the heart of the city, yet it feels like a quiet retreat from the bustle outside. The rooms are simple, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. This is not luxury — it’s authenticity. The staff are warm, genuine, and clearly passionate about the place, which adds to the feeling that you’ve discovered something special. If you’re looking for a hotel with a heart, one that speaks to those who seek stories rather than souvenirs, Hotel St. Patrick is the place to be.
