Mercure Nantes Central

Most of the main museums are located less than half a mile from the hotel.The no 1 tram stops about 50 yards away. The room is reasonably comfortable although the bathroom is tiny.The staff are helpful. Breakfast was fairly average..Food not always replenished quickly.The bed was fairly comfortable.

Excellent Clean Good breakfast

The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting downtown Nantes. Parking under the hotel (without an elevator) is not easy to access as you have to drive in a pedestrian zone. If you come on the weekend, prefer the public parking at Place du Commerce, which is a 3-minute walk away. Mercure hotels are no longer as chic as before; the furniture and bathrooms are quite low-end, with stained carpets; a significant renovation is really needed... Service and breakfasts are very good.
