Univea Appart-Hotel Saint Nazaire (ex Park & Suites)

Despite the very kind receptionist, we were forced to cancel our multi-night reservation because it was not possible to get another apartment; the apartment was not air-conditioned even though all the sites indicate that there is air conditioning, when in the end there is only an air cooler; we were in the middle of a heatwave and it was very, very hot inside, furniture damaged, not very clean, dilapidated premises. The photos on the site are certainly the first photos from when the building was new, nothing like it is today. We do not recommend this hotel, especially during a heatwave.

We rented an air-conditioned room for 3 nights, it is over 35 degrees inside... we asked to change rooms, there are none left available... we were given a poor fan that just circulates hot air (the staff is doing what they can and have already reported the problem). The rooms are clean but dated and do not necessarily correspond to the photos. The pool is very small compared to the size of the hotel and therefore fills up quickly! Impossible to swim a few laps... even at 10:00 AM there is already a line! Breakfast is okay, but we had to ask for the croissants, the chocolate rolls... avoid at all costs, especially when it is hot...

Location is good easy to find. The rooms in the picture are not like the one it rented to me. Value for money was just about ok. The room I had was rather dated and need a good make over and a deep clean. The bed was not the most comfortable. It did have all you needed to self cater on a small scale.
