Hotel Kyriad Orleans Olivet

When staying at 3 star hotel, I don't expect anything fancy. What I do however expect is a clean room and a hotel that is not completely run down. This is probably one of the worst, if not the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The rooms do not look like in the photos. The triple room is literally so small that we had to move the chair to be able to get into the bathroom. The room smelt and was completely run down. Filthy curtains, wall paper and skirting coming off everywhere, filthy carpets in the hallway. Unfortunately the minimum star I can give is one else I would have given one;-(

This is a fine hotel when you travel to the south of France and don’t want to do it in one day. Nice, a bit little, rooms, clean and affordable. It is a pitty that the restaurant is not open in the weekend but there are acouple of restaurants in walking distance.

We stopped in at this hotel after driving for hours through horrible weather and our first impressions were positive. We were shown to our room and within minutes I heard my wife shriek. After removing the "Guarantee of Cleanliness" ribbon from the toilet, we were shocked to find a stewing TURD. It was horrible and had the weather not been so awful, we would have left immediately. We went and told the desk clerk who came and inspected the toilet herself. I think she felt ill afterwards. We were given a new room, but the our whole notion of cleanliness in this establishment was shattered and we couldn't wait to leave. Also, we noticed that outside of our window (ground floor room) there were old mattresses and debris everywhere, hidden by the hedge. There were works going on at the time, but tidying up should be required when inviting people to pay to stay at your establishment.!! Compensation for dirty loo- dog got to stay for free.
