Best Western Hotel Danjou

I am very grateful to have been able to stay in the same room even though a change was planned. I thank the management for being concerned about my comfort.

a very nice hotel! a little "old-fashioned" with lots of faults but it's great anyway... a beautiful room with air conditioning out... no curtains in the bathrooms!!! a little noisy compared to the street and the friendly bistros opposite... a fire alarm for nothing a little too early in the morning!!! no excuse or commercial gesture... ... the last time was in the middle of the night! the real false rating is the restaurants... perfect for breakfast, but awful for dinner! very narrow card... and beginner staff unable to name the fish of the day... able to break a cork with his corkscrew! the poor guy must have been on his first day!!! in the whole super souvenir, I will go back... but I will dine elsewhere;-)

Arrival by car is already complicated since it is impossible to park in front of the hotel entrance so we enter through the restaurant entrance. After being forced to climb and descend several levels of steps we are at the Welcoming (rather cold) where we are assigned room 108. We go down a few steps and see a Lift. And hop 1 floor with our big suitcase and you arrive on a landing with several doors: room 107 (ah we are not far), meeting room, cluttered closet, stacked chairs, ah a door that leads to a landing and still steps to go down to the Welcoming. Where we ask how we get to room 108. Unkind answer "it's behind" ... Ahhhh there was another elevator behind us we go down 5 steps then we go up 3 and we wait for the elevator. We assume our room is on the 1st floor (huh 108?). Level 1st floor numbers start at 110 😳🥴. The corridor on one side and on the other not 108! We go down by elevator... and ask again at Welcoming (go down 3+2 and go up 5 steps): ah no we must not take the elevator!!!! You have to climb 8 steps to the left of the elevator then you descend the 6 steps to the left, then you climb 3 steps then another 3 steps to the right and your room and to the left... Hurrahh! You can hear the neighbor upstairs and in the bathroom you follow the TV program of room 109. I just forgot to tell you that I walk with a cane and that the stairs, moreover without ramps, are a little difficult for me. I assure you we go to the hotel quite often and I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH A MAZE AND SUCH A BAD Welcoming. A short ride to the bar after our series of steps/ landings and the friendliness and helpfulness brought a positive point.
