Interhotel Du Louvre

Very warm welcome, pleasant staff, perfect room, very clean, very good breakfast I recommend it

Lovely little hotel in Cherbourg close to the port and town centre. We had a triple room which was clean and comfortable. Great bathroom with an enormous bath. Liked the coffee machine in the room, (the only time we had one during our French stay). The view out of the window was of an internal roof but we weren't here to look out of the window and it was quiet. We used the hotel parking which is secure but needs booking in advance. However, there is plenty of parking nearby. Hotel us situated within a short walk of port and town centre and 5min drive from the ferry port. Great little find, good value for money.

We had a good 3 night's stay in Hôtel Le Louvre. The welcome at reception was a bit odd as the receptionist asked us if we wanted a clean room! We replied of course. Yes, the room was clean so all was well. The room had a good size but did not have much storage space. It had a Bosch coffee machine and 2 coffee pods per day were provided. The bathroom was fairly spacious and had had a bathtub and shower combination. For us having a bath is always a plus point. The hotel is very central and close to a many of restaurants and cafes. A welcome pack of biscuits and 500 ml bottle of water was nice. This is a reliable central 3 star choice in Cherbourg. If we would go back to Cherbourg, we would happily stay there again but we would also look at other options.
