Hotel d'Arromanches Pappagall

This beautiful place invited for a nice cup of coffee on the terrace. And then the waiting, the waiting, the waiting started. Finally be able to give up the order: double espresso and cappuccino. And then the waiting, the waiting, the waiting started. Made our displeasure known to another girl. He then took our order. Sure enough, after a few minutes this one arrived. The espresso was not an espresso, the cappuccino a watery whole with some foam on it. So bad. At checkout I told the ‘manager’ that we had to wait a long time and that the cappuccino was not good. He laughed in my face and said ‘you’re a bad person’! And that for €8!

We enjoyed the restaurant in the evening. The map is small and excellent. The service is very nice. Very good value for money.

Most restaurants closed in early September but this hotel restaurant opened at 7pm which was fine for us. We both ordered moules frites and they were very good. Large portions of mussels and lovely crispy frites. Good friendly service in a well-placed hotel for the beach area. Very clean restaurant with a good atmosphere.
