Hotel Le Bayeux

Based ourselves here to visit all the D-Day museums and historic sites over 3 days on the Normandy coast. Hotel was 3 stars and that’s what you get. Room was ok. Air conditioner was noisy even when not running. Bathroom was ok but we were given an accessible room which meant a sit down shower with no shower curtain or door so the whole bathroom got wet and my wife actually slipped over - no major injury just a bruised hand. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Great location, we arrived at a busy time so hard to find on street parking near by but once sorted, check in was quick and smooth. We really enjoyed the proximity to the centre of Bayeux, which is stunning! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Room was clean, hadn't spotted there was no kettle in the room so take one if this is needed.

Unfortunately, I was not able to travel but the hotel refunded my money which I badly needed. So 4**** for their handling of the whole affair. Recommended.
