Campanile Epernay - Dizy

Very unpleasant stay because of the front desk manager who is absolutely awful. Icy welcome, not a word of welcome or courtesy from this manager who has a nasty sneer and barks at you as soon as you dare to ask her for something. Style: " "Sorry, but there is no small bar of soap to wash your hands" Response: " "You have to go buy some or bring your own"!!! etc etc ...a disgrace !!! Breakfast is very average: fruit is very damaged and inedible (to be thrown away). If you don't ask for fresh bread, you get a baguette from the day before... Too bad because the rooms are clean and the rest of the staff is nice...

Very warm welcome, renovated and spacious room, very good new bedding, large shower room with toilet, air conditioning. Very quiet location, easy parking and access.

Disappointed no warning the restaurant was closed people had to order food and take it to their room to eat it despite people being "allowed" to eat breakfast in the restaurant area. Little parking due to many tradesman vans and building materials everywhere. Tradesmen working all round building where accommodation is all day. Anyone in same situation have a ride into Epernay parking free after 6pm lots of good bars and restaurants. Felt sorry for staff who advised work ongoing until end 2026
