Holiday Inn Reims Centre

Did not meet expectations. In general everything was worn out, not tidy, cheap looking. Rooms (premium and suites for our group) were just ordinarily equipped bigger rooms, and bathrooms & toilets were awful. Sheets were not clean. The stuff was unfriendly and could not/ would not speak English. The location was good and the breakfast was better than expected.

This third of my IHG Holiday Inn overnights this holiday to / from the Provence . Great central location, easy to find, decent secure parking. Check in ok.. Room adequate although “balcony “ was a stretch for room 215. Very dissatisfied with over bath shower with poor drainage at this price point in 2026. Large Grouo staying who all but closed the 7th floor, tried to go for a drink and was made to feel / welcome (ignoring me left) I wasn’t quite told to P… off, but got the message. On the plus side I found a great garden restaurant at a nearby Champagne/ Seafood venue. Positively in the morning, the same venue for breakfast the Buffett was great and service on par for IHG. Even better if all guests are valued… Better room type descriptions… In 2026 IHG guests mainly want a proper shower that works. Would probably stay again (for a night).

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn and IHG hotels over the years, and this property is a real standout, even amongst other luxury brands in the portfolio. The location is ideal—right in the city center, just a short walking distance from the train station, and a 10-minute car commute to many Champagne wineries. The rooms and public areas are impeccably clean, and the bedding and amenities are very nice. The service is the real star here; everyone is so welcoming and engaging. A special mention must go to Flory at the front office for her genuine kindness—it truly set the tone for our stay. We also especially enjoyed our time at the rooftop restaurant, Il Duomo, which was fully booked for sunset and dinner, yet the team still did their best to accommodate us. The views are nice, the cocktails are high-quality, and the food—while the menu is concise—is tasty and of good value. The wine and Champagne list is extensive and very fairly priced. Cesar, the manager of Il Duomo, does a wonderful job leading his team with such kindness and empathy, and it shows in the attentive service. As a hospitality professional myself, I was thoroughly impressed by the standards maintained by this team across the hotel. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Reims and kudos to everyone for an impressive experience—a true standout for the Holiday Inn brand!
