I'm pretty well travelled and have stayed in some rubbish places in less developed countries but this place really is awful. Would have found somewhere else but was exhausted after a long day travelling. The rooms I was shown all smelled of damp and paint (though there was no sign of any fresh paint anywhere). Old furniture, rotting windowframes, there was a hole in the floor of my room, the bed would have looked more at home in a skip. The wifi didn't work in the room, only in the courtyard. The staff talked/shouted loudly at each other until nearly midnight. I had a terrible fitful night's sleep because every time someone turned on a tap or flushed a loo all the pipes would sing. I didn't eat in the morning because of the rancourous smell from the kitchen, plus the kitchen looked fairly unsanitary. Heard scratching in the walls from some sort of critters. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

Booked last minute by a friend who eroneously believed that there could not exist such a hotel in this day and age. There was no apology for the lies told in their advertisement. Toilets never cleaned. Grey water running all over the floor from the shower. A strong chemical smell possibly being used to mask the smell. We never unpacked but too late to find somewhere else. Avoid.

This Hotel is pretty cheap so I wasn't expecting marble bathrooms and chandeliers. But this place is dirty, smelly and pretty horrible. The bathroom was filthy, the shower and toilet kept overflowing and there was some sort of noisy electric pump which drained the water away. We used the shared shower instead and it was stinky! Breakfast was ok, a croissant and bread isn't too hard to get wrong and the guy at reception gave us some money back for the shower "issues" The Hotel is in a less exciting part of Riems but the tram is very close. I wouldn't stay here again and I'm glad we only had to stay one night.
