BEST WESTERN PLUS HOTEL DE LA

Check in time is stated as 15:00. In my check in form, I set my arrival time for 15:00. After driving for over 8 hours, we arrived at 15:50. We were then told that out room was not yet ready and we had to wait. I'm not sure why we are expected to pay for the full time if we cannot use the room at the stated check in time. The staff told us that we cannot expect that they have all rooms cleaned at 15:00. This does not make sense, and I'm not sure why it should be a negative impact on us, as I'm sure there were other guest with later check in times stated on their intake forms! Also, everyone else's luggage was offered to be taken up to their rooms, but not ours. Our 70 year old parents had to carry their own luggage up. This is not what I expect from your hotel and I am highly disappointed.

Very nice hotel. Very centrally located in the middle of the city. Nice spacious and clean room, but refrigerator did not work (just got to know they were old and they couldn't do anything), and no knobs or hooks enough. Fitness very small. Nice area with pool and a small exit where you can enjoy a strip of sun in the extension of indoor pool. Staff very cute, clean and nice atmosphere. Nice bar. Didn't try the restaurant.

An exemplary hotel in many respects. Good value for money. Especially for a city hotel. I could not find anything that bothered me. Highly recommended.
