MERCURE CENTRE STANISLAS

A nice hotel in a great spot a few minutes from the centre of Nancy , good value with a incredibly tight but very handy car park As with much of the Accor empire especially the Mercure brand the hotel is a bit battered round the edges but for the price I cannot complain

Excellent location but not up to normal Mercure standards. It looked very tired, our room described as comfort was indeed cosy! Small with little space to move around or put clothes but the aircon was effective. The room was however clean. The lift was old and laboured, paint was flaking in our room and the sink was very slow to drain. Parking was OK but not easy to manoeuvre and not cheap €16 a night! The breakfast was OK but why do they insist on such small croissants? Overall therefore not the best Mercure I have stayed in and certainly not 4 star.

We were in Nancy over the holidays. The hotel was empty upon our arrival, but that changed quickly. Unfortunately, we could not check in earlier because the room was not ready yet. The room was okay, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. The garage was not cheap, but completely acceptable. The staff could only speak English or German to some extent; unfortunately, we only spoke broken French. We had breakfast included, which was not cheap but of very good quality, and there were also changing specialties over the three days. The breakfast room is a bit small, and the staff does not always keep up with clearing away.
