As part of a wonderbox, we booked for one night with dinner and breakfast. Upon our arrival at 4 p.m., we were told that the room was not ready because the hotel had a staffing problem. We are understanding, it is the end of the season! But an hour later when we entered the reception hall, we realized that the hotel was simply dirty, nothing is clean, and let's not even talk about our room! We made the choice not to have dinner in light of the reviews we should have read before coming. In the room, no insulation, omnipresent dust, decent bedding. The breakfast is worthy of the rest. Despite the smiles at the front desk, it is a shame that one can still offer this service, especially through a gift box.

Stayed from 15 to 16 August 2026 - Hôtel de la Marine in Carnac - Dismal condition Stayed one night from 15 to 16 August 2026 at the Hotel de la Marine in Carnac. We are still in shock at the state of the room. The level of cleanliness is dismal and unworthy of even a two-star hotel: • Extremely dirty bath linen with visible traces and dirt. • Presence of mold in the bathroom as well as in the bedroom. • Thick dust accumulated under the beds, cleaning was clearly not done. • Bathtub in the bathroom and washbasin blocked because of piles of hair. The water was no longer draining. It is impossible to take a shower or feel clean under these conditions. For the price paid in the middle of August, it is unacceptable. We totally advise against it. We took pictures.
