A pleasant hotel for a discovery stop in Vannes and its region. The private underground parking is convenient, and one can easily walk to the city. The room is small and leaves little space to move around, unfortunately. The bathroom is very decent. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. The staff is very friendly.

Very well located, the Escale Oceania hotel allows guests to walk to the medieval districts of the city or easily reach the port. The parking was full when we went there, but it is possible to park on the street in paid parking spots. The rates offered are quite reasonable considering the location of the establishment. The welcome is pleasant and courteous, allowing for a nice stay. The rooms, of adequate size, are intelligently organized with toilets separate from the bathroom. Instant coffee and herbal tea bags are also provided. The soundproofing is perfect, despite the hotel facing a busy street: no noise can be heard inside. One negative point: the bedding. The mattress lacks firmness and does not seem to be in the best condition, although this does not prevent sleeping. One might also regret the really small size of the pillows as well as a lack of firmness. Moreover, the room for two people only offers one additional pillow in the closet, which is unfortunate. To summarize: a very decent hotel but one that could do much better.
