I spent 2 hours out of 3 nights (with my two little girls) in this hotel and had to flee at 3 a.m. to pay for another hotel. The room was infested with bed bugs, and the heat was unbearable (no A/C, no Wi-Fi, no TV, and clearly unfit). They pretended to want to refund us and asked to leave a photocopy of our bank card (taking us for fools on top of everything). Strange that the Municipality lets these practices continue. The stars are questionable, especially in France, and acting with such impunity is so low. Stay on 07/31, and still not refunded. It is shameful to continue running this type of establishment and do nothing, letting guests still stay there. They claim every time that it is the first time they are discovering bed bugs.
We are still waiting for our refund.

Decent room but rusty balcony and dilapidated bathroom (leaking sink trap, broken toilet flush).
No change for 20 euros to pay the 3 euros tourist tax at the front desk
"Continental" breakfast served on a tray not up to par (dry croissant, sliced bread, Saint Moret cheese and Flamby) all with a disposable knife. Bonus: the butter was 4 days past its expiration date (stay took place on July 23-24)
In short, quite expensive for 90 euros for 2 people

The price is good, and the location is close to the train station and many bus stops. The room with a balcony and bed is also okay. The staff is friendly and tries to improve the shortcomings. The TV is okay, as France mainly has French channels; even though Canal+ is listed below, none of them work, including RTL+. But you can watch ARD and the other main channels. It wouldn't be so bad if there was Wi-Fi in the room, but as it is, you are dependent on this.
Bad:
Wi-Fi is not available; a note on the elevator that looks quite old says: Wi-Fi only at the reception.
The toilet has no door, only curtains; our bathroom was constantly flooded, as water was leaking from the toilet below. No toilet brush.
The heating, although off, has the main pipe running through the room and gurgles very loudly all night. Sleeping is hardly possible.
The shower is very cramped.
Breakfast: No buffet; you receive a tray with 3 slices of toast, 2 butters, 2 jams, and 2 cream cheeses. On the first day, we received 1 egg, but on the second day, we did not get that anymore. The toaster, like many things in the hotel, is broken. The coffee machine is okay, and there is juice. Better to book without breakfast.
Safety: I did not see any smoke detectors or a sprinkler system in the hotel, neither in the room nor in the hallway. Is this not a requirement in France? If you look around at the entrance, you can see that there is no fire alarm system present.
This hotel really needs some investment.
