MERCURE CENTRE

We stayed for a weekend at the Mercure, welcoming staff, spacious room, good bedding, ideal location for visiting the city on foot, the air conditioning was appreciated and the private parking is a real plus, complete breakfast with fresh fruit., As for the negative points: aging bathroom with peeling paint, torn lampshade, hotel lobby restroom not very clean as well as the room, no plant-based milk at breakfast. This hotel corresponds more to a 3-star++ however it deserves a good rating for all the positive points

Hotel very well located near the Metz train station. Nice room, well soundproofed. Welcoming and attentive staff. Very good breakfast; however, it is a shame that there is not enough emphasis on regional Lorraine products.

Got a very friendly reception at the hotel and was shown and explained the way to the parking lot. Well back inside the hotel we were greeted by another employee who was equally serviced. I asked for an extra dyne (or actually the laken) and this was arranged very quickly. Clean, large and nice room. Thick large bath towels and good shower. Comfortable bed and plus feeding well-functioning air conditioning. Breakfast was not tried.
