NOVOTEL CENTRE

We stayed at the Novotel Metz Centre, an establishment that presents itself as a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, we are very far from that. The staff is professional, welcoming, and very friendly; nothing to complain about on that side. On the other hand, the rooms are aging, there are very few electrical outlets, tape is visible on some light fixtures, and the windows are extremely dirty. The hotel also only has one elevator for the entire establishment. Considering the price paid and the advertised standard, the value for money is simply unacceptable. The attached photos speak for themselves. We are going to file a complaint with the Accor group. We strongly advise against this hotel.

Decent hotel but a bit expensive for this standard.. We went there during the last heatwave for the AC; it allowed us to not be less hot, not cooler 🙄, its effectiveness showed its limits... At the restaurant, we had reserved a well-placed table; it was assigned to another couple before the time... 🤨, too bad, the setting and the menu still deserve a good point, chill atmosphere and good value for money on the menu... As for the pool, decent, not too crowded, but the high heat made it turn and the clarity was questionable (turbidity) 🤔 In short, given these drawbacks, I give it 3⭐️

The 4 stars depend on your goods and services, and I understood that well. I think this is one of the worst hotels I have ever set foot in, and I will never return. The smell, the hygiene, the furniture. It is truly shameful. You should introduce us to the restaurant at the reception, for dining or having a drink. But I do not spend money in a run-down and poorly maintained hotel.
