We stayed here as part of a hockey tour, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast plentiful, rooms very small and the smallest shower I have seen! Beds were comfy but extra pillows needed but weren't available. The AS served a purpose and was functional.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May-14 while on Rugby tour to Lille.
Good points are that while the rooms are basic and small, they are fairly clean and comfortable.
Staff are friendly.
Location is poor unless you have transport - taxi to Lille is approx 25 Euros. Not much in Ronchin (didn't see any bars/cafes.) Takes 30-40 mins on public transport (bus from right outside hotel then Metro to the city.)
There didn't appear to be any staff here overnight so if you have problems getting in on a night (roommate has taken the one key they give you etc.) then you will not get access to your room until the morning.
Used for rugby tours etc. so may not be the quietest hotel late at night.
Would only stay here again if I needed somewhere cheap to sleep while travelling through - not a great base to visit Lille.

We booked our hotel for one night as we were travelling from Spain to The Netherlands.
The property is located at the suburbs of Lille, so not sure if this is the best location if you intend to visit the city. In our case, it was perfect as it was right on our route.
For our needs it was a good choice. Very clean and in good state. Room was very small and the shower tiny.
There is free wifi but you need to ask for the code at reception and only one device can be used with each code at a time.
