Best Western Bellevue

Location of the hotel is perfect, right on the main square. The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious, clean rooms, great quality bedding & towels, huge comfy bed & the air con was welcoming. Great value for money considering where it was . Breakfast was lovely each morning & in a comfortable dining area. The decor of the hotel is lovely. The staff were so professional & friendly. A special Thankyou to Chloé who helped me with a certain room request before our arrival for both my parents room & ours. Was so good of her. It was a lovely quiet hotel even though it was in the centre of the tourist area.

I stayed with my daughter for 2 nights in July and overall I would certainly recommend this hotel. Location is great on the main square and close to many good restaurants and cafes. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. The only problem we had was that we couldn’t use our room safe as there was an error message for low battery. I reported this to reception several times and they said someone would fix it, but this never happened - each time they said it would be fixed I got the impression that nobody was available to fix issues so I wasn’t surprised. We coped, but it was annoying not to have somewhere secure for passports etc. However, one huge highlight of this hotel is the rooftop bar. The staff there are fantastic! Cocktails are great and we loved the view, particularly the fireworks on 14th July. Thank you to the bar staff for giving us such great memories of our first visit to Lille. We’ll certainly return and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this historic hotel in Lille...located a stone's throw from the Grand Place. In art deco style...albeit with modern contaminations that should be eliminated. Large rooms, very comfortable bed...decent breakfast...the carpet should be removed. noted flaw.. we booked a taxi with hotel staff to go to the airport But a private driver came without a taximeter who charged 45 euros instead of the estimated 25. The customer should instead always be protected
