Holiday Inn Express Lille Centre

Great base for a weekend Lille. Everything within walking distance, metro station around the corner. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Location is fine so. We were by train but there is also a parking garage under the hotel. Hotel itself is sufficient. Not an excessive luxury but just decent. Breakfast is what you can expect from it. Nothing wrong with that. Although the scrambled eggs should be a little less moist by me. But the French way maybe?😉 Extra star because of the great staff. 👍🏼🙏🏼

Great! That 'Express' thing tagged onto the end of a hotel's name indicates that it's the cut-price version of what the hotel chain has to offer overall, but I didn't feel at all compromised here. It was modern, neat, clean, had everything I needed, the staff were friendly and multilingual, and the location, a couple of hundred yards from Place de la Republique and the Palais des Beaux Arts, was excellent. No problem at all.

We recently stayed at the Holiday inn express in Lille and and we had an amazing experience. We were greeted by Julia and Zar when we checked in who were both superb, like everyone we spoke to at reception. All the staff at Breakfast were extremely friendly and professional especially Antoine. Will defo be back if we stayed in Lille.
