Clean, quiet, good welcome, close to the two train stations

This was one of the most disappointing hotel/aparthotel experiences I've ever had. Quite frankly, Hotels.com should be ashamed this is even listed. I am absolutely gutted I didn't do more research and only took their rating as a guide. Lesson learned. I seriously question their judgement. Marketed as a family room, I can safely say it is totally unsuitable for families. One of the beds was a sofa bed, with two single mattresses and a large gap inbetween, and NO pillows!! The room had not been thoroughly cleaned. My wife and I found big clumps of brown dust or dirt on the floor. There were drink stains on the walls. The bathroom was mouldy around the edges of the bath. There was food in the fridge from a previous occupant, which given there is a big sign threatening a 57 euro fine for not taking out your own rubbish bag, is pretty hilarious. One of the bedside lights did not function. The room had no A/C - it did have windows that opened, but overlooking the train station it meant very little peace. It was impossible to connect to the wifi. We checked out early and stayed somewhere else. Mercifully, the desk staff couldn't have cared less. Avoid.

The location, price & staff were perfect, all the place needs is a deep clean. On the surface it’s clean but little things like removing the water marks from the taps, marks from the shower & toilet, would make a huge difference. Also the lino (yup it’s that kinda place) could do with repair in places. Just to let you know the rooms look bigger in the photos.
