More than disappointing hotel: filthy carpets, a smell that hits your nose, 15-year-old decor, worn-out sofas. We took a room at 115 eur per night: no tea bags or coffee, just the kettle. Sagging mattress. Old-fashioned bathroom. We asked to change rooms because of the mattress: we ended up in a downgraded room with no possibility of being refunded the difference. Abusive, contemptuous, dishonest manager: 'his hotel is supposedly better than the Ritz'!!! This gentleman is a liar, telling me he turned away customers to reserve the room for us, even though there were plenty of rooms available. Water damage in all the hallways. It is filthy. Torn bedroom curtains. Windows overlooking a back area filled with trash. Flavorless breakfast: no local products: industrial honey, jam in individual packets like at a hospital. Uninteresting spa and stained cushions. We are cutting our stay short, with no possibility of a refund. This arrogant manager should go back to school to learn hotel management and, above all, how to behave. A trained professional remains courteous and respectful, always seeking to satisfy the customer. I would like to highlight the kindness, smiles, and professionalism of the 2 receptionists. We booked this hotel by mistake . We ment to book the La Zenia hotel.in spain. As soon as we realised which was about 20 minutes or so we tried to cancel the booking. The management refused to refund our money. We tried messaging the hotel.through booking.com we tried to call them direct and weemailed the hotel . They pretended not to be able to speak or understand English. Absolutely dreadful behavior . If this is the way the staff of this establishment behave then I would definitely recommend that anybody reading this should avoid this place at all costs. Someday I will be in that area and I will call too see them and see in person.

Hotel has received a new management team during the last few weeks. They are going to transform 200% for the hotel into a pleasant place to stay, both for businessmen and couples. The spa area has been thoroughly addressed with two brand new jacuzzis! The reception / breakfast area has also been renewed, and a number of rooms have been thoroughly renewed. Much work remains to be done, after years of neglect, but the young management team deserves every support.
