Exceptionally quiet and elegant place. Professional and very courteous welcome. Magnificent spacious and well-insulated rooms. Very beautiful restaurant with very tasty and nicely presented dishes. Superb park. High-quality spa services.

Magnificent setting, elegance, and a bucolic break, castle-life style, for a one-night stay 50 min from Paris. In a heatwave context, we appreciated being in the forest and a dinner on the terrace that was truly idyllic, with a super pleasant musical trio. There are a few improvements that could be made: in the new rooms with A/C, it has a hard time producing (but temperatures are abnormal), no outdoor bar area (apart from 2 tables), it's a shame in the summer season, the pool and the smell given off by the waterlogged ground is very unpleasant.

Admittedly, we did not book the most expensive room (only €250 to be under the eaves…). The price of the 2 bottles of water is nowhere to be found (complimentary or paid?). I would like to have dinner brought to my room. But what is the reception number? I am looking, but nothing. No info. So I go to the reception and ask where the info is. answer: "I don't know. But I will look." I actually did, 10 minutes later: "9, sir. It is indicated by turning on the TV, then going to the hotel services program, then to the right directory, then you download the PDF doc, then you go to page 24. It is indicated in the middle of the page.  Couldn't you have made it simpler? That's how it is and our guests are satisfied." In a rage, I canceled the reservation for the next day's brunch. No problem. Even though a simple goodwill gesture would have been enough to calm me down. Otherwise, the breakfast staff was adorable. But frankly, the reception, the room, and the service are not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Beautiful castle, flattering decor, but terrible service.
