Even though we only stayed 1 night, I was impressed by the quality and friendliness of the staff, the size of the rooms and little things they do right. Yassir (Iraqui) spoke fluent English and was more than helpful with our luggage, and providing fresh water for 6 weary travellers. He offered us freshly baked croissants and provided us complete directions to a wonderful dinner location and bus to Notre Dame Cathedral. He was worth his weight in gold. I met Nassim, works on building maintenance and he offered his help in any way. When we got back to the hotel at night, Vahan (Armenian) was very helpful and we had a wonderful conversation about his university experience at Sorbonne. He was in charge of getting the buffet breakfast ready, and helped us get a minivan for the group. This hotel is 1/2 mile from Gare du Nord or Gare du Este in Arrondisement 20. Great value and wonderful staff that love their jobs.
