I was surprised to find a Marriott hotel in such a neighborhood setting. The building is located on street of restaurant and shops. Despite other reviews here I had a warm welcome and staff was helpful in providing me with some help on how to navigate to my business meeting with public transport the next day. The room was nicely setup and I didn't spot any major cleanness issues, and airconditioning worked. So all is good. One downside was the iron board which is the small version with out a stand and you have to iron on the bed or table - i hate those i practical things. On the plus side; I asked staff about dinner options and they offered me several choices and one restaurant nearby was spot on. Breakfast was good although selection isn't abundant it offers enough options to start the day well. The convenience store and restaurants in the street are handy and make for a lively setting. I had a good experience and stay here.

I usually stay at Residence Inn properties and have generally had good experiences, which is why this stay in Paris was particularly disappointing. The main issue was cleanliness. From the moment I entered the room, I noticed that the bedsheets had visible stains. While I cannot confirm whether they had been changed, this is not something you expect when checking into a hotel. More concerning was the housekeeping during my stay. The room was never vacuumed, not once, which was obvious as the floor remained dirty throughout. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned. As a simple but telling example, there was a hair stuck on the wall next to the bathroom mirror when I arrived. I deliberately left it there to see if it would be cleaned; it was still there when I checked out. This says a lot about the level of attention given to cleaning. That said, I would like to highlight Dylan at reception, who was very welcoming and professional throughout my stay. Overall, while the concept of the Residence Inn is good, the cleanliness at this property, at least in my case, fell well below expectations. Cleanliness is a basic standard, and unfortunately, this stay did not meet it.
