Problem #1 - Cockroaches - lack of hygiene: One ended up in my suitcase, which forced me to empty and check all my belongings. Another was found in the bathroom (photo in 4K). The general condition of the room disappointed me: mattress not very clean, overall atmosphere not reassuring and insufficient soundproofing. Issue #2 - after-the-fact management: The establishment offered me in writing a commercial gesture of 80 €, which I accepted. Subsequently, this action was called into question, citing an error that occurred by one of the staff members, and no further response despite several reminders and calls. It's unprofessional. It should also be noted that relatives went to this establishment at another time, without knowing my experience, and also noted hygiene and soundproofing problems. I let everyone make up their minds, but between hygiene and customer management, I do not recommend. It deserves 0/10

to flee. No cleanliness, no elevator (we were on the 6th floor!) and we had to struggle for the breakfast we had already settled! A shame.

First of all, the hotel photo here is misleading and out of date, it is located in a run-down side alley with empty shop windows on both sides, just by the way. Yes it is cheap and is close to various stations. Also cafes or bars nearby. Employees ok. Breakfast offered for 8Eur but not used. Vending machine at the counter. But... climbing spiral stairs with luggage? Not pleasant. Noisy guests running around (where?, the corridors and rooms are tiny? How did they do that?). Windows open partly to the courtyard, but since very narrow, you can see each other on the bed. Room in need of renovation. Light from the hallway shines under the door and illuminates the room. Bed...pretty messed up. Fan was there. Kettle yes, but without tea etc. Soap and shower gel were available for every day, but only for one person, there were two of us. Modest smell came from the bath for the first day, but that is probably generally due to the Parisian summer and old pipes. It was still uncomfortable. The highlight but the surroundings. Absolutely lowest drawer station area with tons...we call it possibly island/other continental immigrants who don't necessarily hang out quietly on the street right down to the dolls. Which is also tailored to these customers with the shops. Of the shops, most were also closed and graffiti-decorated. You didn't necessarily hear inside, but if you came from bus or metro you had to go this way and pass. So, you can use it to sleep if you don't want to spend a lot, that's enough.
