Stayed one night, discovered bed bugs in bed. Demanded another room to night manager (was 10.45 pm) only yo be told there were none! Given bug spray which I emptied all over the bed. Next morning complained to the manager who informed me I should have been given a room and there were fond available! I complained bitterly and demanded s refund, to no avail. Currently covered in bug bites on Dave, arm, back and legs. A disgrace!

Absolute disgrace! After travelling on the Eurostar to Gare du nord myself and my boyfriend walked to the hotel. The area is awful, extremely unwelcoming and feeling of ‘unsafe’. We made it to the hotel and waited at reception. Two people were sat on the sofa and just looked at us. 10minutes we waiting (I even called the hotel reception number and no one answered) The older lady from the sofa came over but couldn’t speak English. She handed me all the reservations they had and I picked out ours. She then shouted to another girl, who could speak a little English, she said she just had to clean our room. We waited another 20minutes. Went up to our room. Dirty laundry and towels in the hallway. No electricity in the room. Shower was dirty. Couldn’t sit on the toilet and close the door at the same time. Cobwebs on the ceiling. Smelt of damp. Just quite underwhelming and off putting. We went back down to reception to try to resolve our issues (even to ‘upgrade’ if a better room was available or plausible) There was an elderly guy on reception who just started shouting at us in french. We tried to translate best we could for 30 minutes before we gave up and left. Paid a €55 no show fee which I tried to contest but was just to difficult. Avoid like the plague.

Friendly price but the room does not have any air condition.. very hot in summer.. but the location is fine as you can take Bigbus from around the hotel. The staff cannot speak english well, but appreciated their effort.
