The hotel enjoys an ideal location and has been beautifully renovated; it clearly flirts with a 4-star rating in many aspects.
The decoration of the rooms is meticulous and the layout is practical, even though their size remains a bit tight for the advertised standard.
The common areas are truly stunning: lobby, restaurant, lounge… everything is elegant and well thought out.
But what really makes a difference here is the staff. The housekeepers are impeccable, the restaurant team is welcoming and cheerful, and the reception is remarkably kind, all with a smile, despite the stifling heat and, unfortunately, the absence of air conditioning in the common areas.
For a 4-star hotel, this is a difficult lack to overlook, both for the comfort of the guests and for that of the staff who deserve much better than simple fans.
This is a point on which management would do well to act quickly.
Another small downside: the pool shared with the neighboring residence loses some of the charm and exclusivity expected at this level of service.
That said, the soul of this hotel is its team, and it is simply exceptional.
