AppartCity Perpignan Centre

Stayed 2 nights in the appart Hotel. Good place if you need the train station that is just at the other side of the street. Bakery, supermarket, restaurants are very close. At walkable distance from the touristic area. The room is not luxury, but is clean and quiet and has all you need. Just a pity there is no possibility to sit outside at the hotel, e.g. a terrace. Fresh water at the reception area.

Unfortunately we have hired this "hotel" by mistake, assuming it was another one we had been to the previous year (whose appearance and name were similar; moreover we got there, put down our bags and only at that moment we found out that we were wrong in hiring. The hotel in which we finally had no alternative but to stay (since it was without free cancellation, this one of which I write), is opposite the train station, an area that by day could be "passable", although far from the center, but at night it is impossible to return without a car, since the area is dangerous; it has a dreadful "ambience". When booking we requested a room on the upper floor, but we were assigned one on the 2nd floor, so we asked for your change. We were given one on the 5th floor, extremely small, uncomfortable double bed, 1.40 m; the pillows so hard and uncomfortable that it was impossible for me to sleep during the 3 nights in which we stayed; I ordered another pillow from the employee, but it turned out to be the same as the one I already had, since to sleep I had to take a clonazepán. No cleaning of the room has taken place every day, no towels have been changed, no bathroom or room containers have been emptied. And the strawberry of dessert: at check-in we have been charged 50 euros in guarantee, which we wanted to pay in cash to receive at check-out OUR money, but they did not accept that it was in cash but only by card, except that OUR money will receive it after 10 or 15 days of its refund (I have read in another comment that having spent 22 days and despite the claims that this man has made, has not yet received them). I will never return or recommend this property!!!! The surroundings of Perpignan are very beautiful and worth touring, but stay in another hotel. Of course it always depends on the tastes, demands and preferences of each one; but in my opinion this is unpresentable.

We thought we booked a hotel room when it is a small room in an upstairs house with shared toilet and bathroom. the ad on a search site is misleading.
