Fasthotel Perpignan Sud

This hotel is not even worth 20€....and they charge 50 for a single room the size of a prison cell. At arrival there is nobody except a screen, which asks you a lot of questions, before you even can enter the parking lot. You feel like in this old christmas song, where Mary and Joseph knock on all the doors and nobody answers. When you finally arrive at the room, the air con does not work .- but on ground floor you could not leave the window open, as everybody could get in (exterior corridors). The mattress is so thin, that you feel like sleeping on the floor. The "bathroom" is a cell, borrowed from a cheap cruise ship (no shower tray, no toilet brush, no place to put things). The restaurant and the reception were closed all the time I was there - so I could not have had breakfast, even if I wanted (what I did not, it would have cost more than 10 €!!!) So - never again!

I had a clean and comfortable room. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an onsite restaurant that has a limited menu but the food is very good and reasonable priced. Breakfast is the basic continental which had all I needed. The WiFi is free and speed acceptable. I think that it is good value for money budget class hotel and will stay here again if I am in the area. Only downside regarding the restaurant is that it only opens in the evening Monday thru Thursday. So if you arrive over the weekend you will need to drive into the centre of town to find somewhere to eat because there is nothing nearby.

The room had a very small bathroom with toilet, the size of an airplane. Very kind and helpful hotel receptionist. Everything was clean. It is a very simple hotel, but for a 1 night stay when traveling to Spain is suitable. The price for overnight stay was very favorable
