This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It is quite obviously being used as a homeless shelter, judging by the characters we saw in the lifts and the general state of disrepair and smell of the rooms. It’s also a cheek to call itself an aparthotel. The place has a very, very, very small kitchenette area where you’d be lucky to fit a pot of pasta. The rooms may well state that they have no air conditioning, but that doesn’t mean they should be absolutely roasting, and they were unbearably hot. We ended up not staying because we had concerns for our safety. When I told the staff member at reception that we didn’t like the hotel and weren’t comfortable staying there, all they had to say was, “Okay.” Do not, under any circumstances, waste your money on this dirty hotel.

I had a hard time writing this review because this hotel has some major pros and cons. Starting with the positives: for a family of three, the one-bedroom option is quite spacious and highly functional. The location is also excellent bc you are right in the heart of the city with easy access to incredible food, shopping, and activities. Unfortunately, the low points were difficult to ignore. First, the customer service was easily the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel; the staff genuinely seemed like they did not want to be there. Even the smallest requests were met with such rudeness and attitude that another guest in the lobby actually looked at me in surprise by how the front desk spoke to me. Second, the room comfort and cleanliness fell short. The AC unit was incredibly loud, cycled awkwardly throughout the night, dripped, and completely stopped working for one night of our stay. As for cleanliness, we found multiple hairs in the tub when we checked in, and when we pulled out the sofa bed, we found a previous guest's dusty pajamas left between the cushions. Ultimately, you have to weigh your options. If you don't mind bypassing poor customer service and a few cleanliness issues for the sake of an amazing location, this place fits the bill. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

This hotel was disappointing. The location was good, very central, and this was the main factor when booking it. Originally, we were told we would be provided with 2 doubles beds in a suite. We got there and were told we (my mother and I) were sharing a bed, and then were given a room with a pullout couch. The couch opened into two single cot style beds, not one double bed as we had been advised. There was a large gap between them and the mattresses were very hard. When pressed to provide 2 beds instead of 1 per the booking, the receptionist became very cold and impolite. In fact, throughout the booking we were never greeted by any of the staff when coming or going through the hotel - no good morning or hello, which came across very rudely. The rooms were also quite dirty - the skirting boards in the bathroom and toilet were coated with a thick layer of grey dust. The air conditioning was very mediocre and turned off in the night so you woke up in a sweat. The televisions are from the last century, the breakfast is overpriced for what I can assume was reconstituted eggs, the elevator was broken half the time we were there, and the washing machine and dryer were overpriced. I’m sure you can find a better experience elsewhere, but this neighborhood is recommended.
