Mercure Plaza Republique

As other reviews state, location is the big selling point for this hotel. The staff is courteous and there are some nice little touches in the lobby, like flavored water. There is a good selection at breakfast and there are tables outside which is great in good weather as there doesn't seem to be loads of traffic in the area. The rooms are small and I found them to be claustrophobic. The our room's decor was dark to begin with and then very small windows and drapes covering them made a big impression. There are nice room amenities and a small refrigerator.

This hotel is well situated. The staff were friendly, the rooms adequate and the hotel is situated centrally.

Nice hotel very well placed, quiet, friendly and efficient person. Beautiful well appointed room. Fountain of water available. Very good breakfast. A good address in Lyon.
