Residence Maeva Les Combes

We (2 adults, 3 children) had a great stay in the residence of the Combes and look forward to returning. We had a little tight budget for our holidays, so we chose this residence which is one of our cheapest research in the resort. I admit that we feared the apartment a little and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived: the building is certainly a little aging, there are no frills, the furniture also blames its age, but the apartment had an ideal plan and we immediately pleased. The accommodation consisted of a small entrance serving a separate toilet, the bathroom and the tiny kitchen that connected by a skylight with the living room, just above the lunch table. Two bench beds (under one, a drawer bed, and under the other two storage lockers), then a tiny bedroom separated by a sliding door completed this small cocoon. Good bedding, quite a few plugs, but the whole thing was not modern at all. The point to review for me was the kitchen equipment: small fridge, but that's normal, but especially no oven, with an antediluvian microwave oven: appliances doing both exist. More anecdotal but still amazing: there was no toaster, which is for me a basic equipment of home. At the level of the building, it is ideal: a stone's throw from a small superette and two ski rentals, with access really ski foot. Only downside: as always, the ski lockers are too small for 5, and it is impossible to accommodate 5 pairs of boots, which we had to put up in the apartment (we had a small terrace very nice to sunbathe between noon and two). What more can be said than that the resort is absolutely incredible, with an exceptional ski area? As you understand, our children are excited to return next year.

It is unfortunate that the toilets of our apartment are for more than a year with a smell of mold following a water damage and whose walls have not been redone. Toilet paper holder barely fits on the wall due to humidity

Good place for skiing in the middle of ski area Trois vallées in France. Nice slopes, nice view. Accommodation on right on the piste , close to the shop, restaurants. After skiing you can play squash, badminton, table tennis,... in the Centre Sportif . For children is FUN PARK : trampolines, bouncy castles,..., Swimming pool,...
