Best Western Hotel Plaisance

The hotel has had a few years on the counter. It makes a somewhat worn impression. But everything is clean. We had a superior room (No. 207). It was nice and spacious with a separate toilet and a bathroom with walk-in shower. The beds were fine. Everything was spick and span clean. The air conditioning did its job superbly. Breakfast was nicely catered for. For the savoury eater there were tasty cheeses and good quality cold cuts. It's just a shame the air conditioning in the breakfast room wasn't on. Parking is available for €12 on the hotel grounds behind a high gate. However, the parking lot has good and bad spots. With a somewhat larger car you have a problem if there are only bad places available. So don't arrive late! From the parking lot you have to climb a staircase with a few steps to the reception. So with your bags too.

Booked in the Ibis Styles in Macon but did not like the look of area nor the look of the hotel so drove on until we found this hotel. Dead centre of town with gated parking - we got the last spot so do reserve - the staff were brilliant, the room more than sufficient with a lovely view over the roofs for miles! Very comfortable stay for the one night before pressing on but in my store of places to stop!

Beautiful room very good bedding very nice personal bathroom the most pleasant and good advice in terms of catering large parking television with a choice of channels never met even within five stars very full breakfast all for for a surprising value for money Don't change anything.
