Grand Hotel de la Paix

Excellent value for money. Room cleanliness mediocre, hallways with ruined and apparently dirty carpet. There is no minibar in the room (being a 4-star hotel we expected it). Passable breakfast. Overall we had a good time and the price is very competitive.

One of the worster Hotel with 4 stars I ever stayed. The room was clean and equipped, but... but: 1. There were not any drinking water in the room at all - i suppose, it is already standard, that it should be there. Isn't it? 2. We travelled 3 people and therefore Hotel prepared a sofa for the hight as an additional place - and this sofa is creaking all the time. Not only when you move, but even when you just breath 3. The door in bathroom is also creaking for each movement 4. The sink was soo old and i guess it is here from the first day when the building was completed 5. The breakfast was so simple and poor, that i thought, that it is 2 stars Hotel. 6. And additional, i guess, they do not any available space for the kitchen. But this room close to the canteen, i heard every sound out of this during the breakfast 7. Final point as a cherry on the cake - I stayed in room 101 and the view from the window... it is something unforgettable I would not recommend you to stay in this hotel at all. Especially for the price they ask. It is not 4 stars Hotel - Max 3, but with many assumptions.
