Quality Suites Lyon Lodge

Very good stay in this apartment hotel that I recommend without hesitation. The studio was very clean, perfectly maintained, and the housekeeping was impeccable. The establishment is ideally located, just a 5-minute walk from the subway, on a very convenient line for getting around Lyon. I also appreciated the underground parking available by reservation. It is a real plus when traveling by car. The buffet breakfast is also very satisfying, with plenty of choices. The only small negative point concerns a slight odor in the bathroom, probably related to sewer backups. The odor was not particularly strong, but it was present throughout the stay. When booking, I had requested a room on an upper floor and not on the garden side, having read in several reviews that this part could be noisier due to the restaurant terrace located nearby. Unfortunately, I was accommodated on the ground floor on the garden side. Out of the four nights spent at the hotel, this only posed a problem once, but it happened that a World Cup soccer match was being broadcast that evening, which generated a lot of noise for part of the night. Another point to note for people who like to sleep in a little later: the housekeeper's passage in the hallways is quite noisy. During my stay, she would come by around 10 a.m. on the ground floor. Between the vacuum cleaner and the bumping against the walls or doors during cleaning, it was difficult to continue sleeping once she arrived in the hallway. Despite these few remarks, my experience remains very positive. The establishment offers excellent value for money, the accommodations are comfortable, clean, and well-located. If I return to Lyon, I will book this hotel again without hesitation.

Nothing particular to report: excellent and comfortable stay. Maybe just need the basics in the kitchen to be able to use it (oil / salt). Very good otherwise.
