I would not stay here again. I’ll start with the positives: The rooms are quite nice and the layout of the rooms is generally well thought out. We were half board and there is a decent mix of food to choose from. The bar staff are friendly. Unfortunately there were a lot more negatives than positives. I had a big leak in my room that I had to repeatedly chase the hotel staff to resolve (it would have caused serious damage to my room and the room below if left any longer). When they finally looked at it they said they needed to move me rooms so that they could rip that room apart to fix the leak. However, they didn’t have a room for me on the last night so they would have to squeeze an extra bed in for me to share a room with other members of our group. They said ‘it’s ok cos you know them right’…. I have paid for my own room for a reason. Myself and the company I had booked through had to really chase and push them, for them to find me an actual hotel room to stay in on the last night, but I still had to pack everything before skiing on the last day and then move into that room in the evening. I appreciate they can’t help the leak but surely there should be some contingency and they shouldn’t be booking up every single room in the hotel. We all had freezing cold showers most evenings after skiing as the hot water had run out, the hotel staff just shrugged their shoulders and said it was because we were showering at peak times. A hotel should be able to cope with that. There was very loud kids entertainment on in the main bar every night (and during the day sometimes) that meant you couldn’t hear each other to chat and couldn’t relax. This seemed unnecessary and inconsiderate to guests who weren’t interested in the entertainment. They need a separate area for this if they are going to have it on as there was nowhere else to go to get away from it. Normally we would spend quite a bit of time in the hotel bar but we just wanted to get out of there as much as possible. Several areas of the hotel had a strange sewagey smell (the reception and boot room mainly). The reception was closed a lot of the time so you couldn’t get help when needed. The bar was also closed during the day so you couldn’t get a drink. The room cleaning service was not consistent and some of our rooms were left without toilet roll and towels. There weren’t enough spoons at mealtimes so you had to try to find a spoon while your food went cold. There are a lot of simple, hotel basics that they have not got right here. The customer service is poor when issues are raised and it is all just a bit stressful to get what you actually need.

Very good week, the team is doing its utmost, however this establishment is in its juice, being cold to eat is not acceptable, I thank all the staff. The welcome with the charming husband, the animation the young Evelyne, the bar etc and the boss Alain who is present, the dangerous Spa falls etc...I confirm that mmv does everything possible to make you have a good stay, however I will go back to the Plagne

We are halfway through our stay and we appreciate every moment! The hotel is very well located, clean and especially the staff is great! At the bar the staff is very attentive, always pleasant and smiling. In catering it is the same, the service is impeccable and the buffets change every day and there is a multitude of quality dishes! The wellness area is also clean and very nice. As for the team of animators she is very friendly and every day renews!! Congratulations to all of you. I admit I don't understand the negative comments...
