Alba Hotel Rouen

We arrived from Brittany on Saturday night and the welcome was great at the top The receptionist was extremely kind The room is clean and the bed very comfortable We didn't have breakfast but the morning receptionist made us 2 coffees it's adorable We will return without problem

Ideal location, very friendly welcome, decent Award, comfortable room, clean bathroom, top bedding with a very large bed for two... yes the cleaning is not top, especially at ground level, but well... me I would go back in pb

The minute I entered the room (at midnight after a long day of travel) there was a smell of must and mould. Even sleeping all night with the window open , did not clear the smell. There was mould in the ceiling of the bathroom, the tiles and shower curtain. The ‘coffee’ making facilities consist of paper cups with a sachet of coffee. No milk. There is no fridge or safe. No shower door, only a mouldy curtain. After a day of the window open, there was still a desperate smell so I needed to leave the hotel. This is a 0.1 star hotel. Pity as the location is great and maybe all rooms aren’t as bad.
