Residence Pierre & Vacances Premium Residence de la plage

We stayed for a week in August at Pierre & Vacances in Le Crotoy, in a 6-person house, 2 bedrooms, site 32. We really appreciated its location a bit off to the side: very quiet, a pleasant little garden, no overlooking neighbors, and above all, no constant foot traffic in front of the house. I really recommend this area of the residence. The small duplex house has a lot of charm, is rather well-equipped, and is pleasant to live in. We also really liked the pool, the immediate proximity to the sea, and of course Le Crotoy, which is a very nice resort town. The staff is also a real positive point: very kind welcome and teams that are available and pleasant. A piece of advice: absolutely get a spot in the underground parking, because parking in Le Crotoy in the middle of August can quickly become complicated! Unfortunately, the major downside remains, once again at Pierre & Vacances, the cleaning and especially the maintenance of the accommodations. Our two toilets gave off a strong smell of urine that was impossible to get rid of, we noticed signs of dampness/mold, and when it rained, water would seep in under the French door. You can tell that some equipment and accommodations are starting to age and would need a real renovation. At over €2,000 a week, this level of maintenance is hardly acceptable and explains my 3 stars. Too bad, because the residence has a huge number of assets. We could come back, probably by choosing one of the few houses with a sea view, but Pierre & Vacances really needs to make an effort on the cleaning and maintenance of its accommodations so that the service is up to the prices charged.

Very pleasant stay at the Pierre & Vacances Premium residence in Le Crotoy. The location is ideal, near the Somme Bay, and allows you to fully enjoy the setting and the magnificent landscapes. The residence is pleasant, comfortable, and well-maintained. We particularly appreciated the quiet, the quality of the facilities, as well as the welcome. The accommodation was clean, functional, and perfectly suited for a family stay. A little tip to make the most of the sea view: choose an apartment on the 1st or 2nd floor rather than on the garden level. The view of the bay is much clearer there and allows you to really appreciate the landscape. A very beautiful discovery of the Somme Bay, with many walks and activities nearby. We had an excellent stay and will return with pleasure!

Location is great! Apartments deserve a refresher. Everything is there. Beautiful view of the bay. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
