Best Western Montagne Noire

Would need a car or taxi to get into Castres..we had a hire car but taxi was only 12 euro..Staff nice helpfull clean room most comfortale..didn't have breakfast so can't comment only I thought it was expensive should have been included .

The ads for this place are from pictures that must have been taken 20 years ago. The bedding is worn, the location a disaster, the staff friendly and incompetent. There are so many better places to visit and stay, so doesn’t stop off here. We checked out a day early and went to another Best Western that was great. They didn’t even blink at this; I suspect not many make it past the first night. I think the Best Western chain should require new photos and descriptions. Most of what is presented is a complete stretch. Some of it is just untrue.

Stayed while traveling through the south of France. Convenient to the restaurants of nearby Castres (La Table du Sommelier is excellent!) Room was ready when I arrived. Calm competent hostess, nice pool (with an interesting below water level window to the lobby...I imagine kids would like it) Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Typical Best Western experience...the hotels are all different, but in my experience affordable and well-managed.
