Hotel Nogentel

Very beautiful hotel, view of the harbor, top-notch welcome.

I had called to find out if we could arrive before 3 PM; the dry response was NO, NOT BEFORE 3 PM. GOOD We arrived at 4:15 PM, and the room is not ready. We are told "in 20 minutes." We are waiting in the non-air-conditioned lobby. A young man named Anthony kindly offered us a bottle of cold water and recommended that we wait on the 3rd floor in an air-conditioned lobby. At 5:30 PM, still no room. I go down to the reception to inquire; the receptionist Morgane responds without even looking at me, "we are doing what we can." Fortunately, I run into a young woman from the hotel who very kindly offers to go check on things. Around 6 PM, finally in our room. There, surprise, no minibar. Yet (photo of the hotel information as proof) it is noted "refrigerator." I called the front desk, and they told me that only suites have one! Now I am concerned about dinner and am searching in vain for the phone number of the hotel restaurant advertised online (screenshot). Impossible to find it, and for good reason, it no longer exists. The website has not been updated. My husband and I are 80 years old. My husband suffers from emphysema and I from chronic bronchitis. To "breathe a little," we are in this hotel about 1 km from our home to get some respite. We are forced, with this heatwave suffocating us, to go out for dinner. DO YOU THINK WE ARE SATISFIED? The only benefit, and fortunately a HUGE BENEFIT, is that the air conditioning works.

Very pleasant stay at the port hotel. We were able to enjoy a very comfortable room with a view of the colorful port.
