Used this hotel for an overnight stop during a group tour, and they seemed not to have thought through issues of having numerous guests, which is strange as a hotel that serves on of the worlds busiest international airports. The check-in for each person was slow and cumbersome and clearly better suited to two families an hour. Meal service was the same. The restaurant could not handle many diners, despite having tables and seemed to be geared more towards locals watching the France/Morocco world cup match. However the food, when finally ordered and delivered was just fine and the gluten-free dietary need was properly handled. Breakfast was even worse, as they opening time was not adhered to and it was kept locked until well past the time when some people had to depart. Hotels ate airports should expect people to be travelling and departing. The rooms themselves were just fine as were the bathrooms. It also has a pin-ball machine in the lobby!

When I arrived there was water covering the bathroom floor which I didn’t notice and slipped over. I had to put towels on the floor. The soap dispensers were just left empty by the sink. When I asked for another room I was told by a very unhelpful person that no other rooms were available. In the end I was moved but the whole experience was unsatisfactory. There’s more negative things I could say but not enough room.

We stayed here for one night with Shearings coming back from Andorra before going home. We arrived late at night and there was only one person on reception to check us in so a coach load of people had to queue. The hotel had no stairs so everyone had to queue for the lifts. The room was great. Very spacious with a good walk in shower but the shower screen needed to be longer or there needed to be a door so water would not run onto the floor. We had a comfy bed, coffee/tea tray with kettle but no spoons or cups, hairdryer, fridge, TV but all in French, WIFI and plenty of plug points. We were told that the breakfast would be available from 6am and we were setting off to Calais at 7am so we were there for 5:55am. At 6am the restaurant was still in darkness and no staff were there. I went to reception at 6:20am to explain that we needed breakfast but he just shook his head. All our coach party were waiting for breakfast. At 6:25am I shouted bonjour through the glass door that was locked to get someone's attention and a lady came shaking her head and shut the door. 6:30am the lady opened the door but nothing was ready apart from cereal. We tried to get a cup of tea but there were only fruit infusion tea bags so we were left with no drink. We left at 6:45am and they were just bringing food out for breakfast which was too late. No one cared. As we had a 16 hour journey we were relying on having a big breakfast and a cup of tea that we had paid for.
