DAMREMONT

Unfortunately I struggled to find many positives at this hotel. We opted for this hotel when comparing locations hoping for a slightly out of city quieter stay. Every night we were kept up by deliveries to the hotel, busses, emergency vehicles, mopeds starting right outside the window. The only saving grace was having my noise cancelling headphones, which are uncomfortable to sleep in, but the only was we were getting any sleep. Rooms are “cosy” think 8 inches around the size of the bed to awkwardly sidestep round the room, if you of any size at all, it’s just too small. No fans or aircon - hence having windows open - the road noise!! Breakfast, in all honesty, overpriced and not great, save the money and visit one of the many cafes who offer a good choice and fresh coffee for less than you pay per person There are no refreshments in rooms, no water or kettle etc, there is a water cooler in reception and a coffee machine and a vending machine, the latter of which are charged and with coins. If you need a bed to sleep in and can sleep through anything, then probably a great find. If you want a hotel feel and some basic comforts, you could probably get somewhere much quieter for similar money. I will however remark, it was clean, the shower worked and it was well located a short walk from sacre coeur and monmatre itself beautiful.

Very bad experience. The treatment from the staff was rude and unprofessional. We had previously agreed with reception that we could have breakfast a few minutes before the opening time due to our departure schedule, but when we arrived at the dining room, we were told in a dismissive manner that they could not authorize such exceptions and that they did not care what reception had said. The most outrageous part was that there were already other guests having breakfast, and when we asked why they could do it, we were told it was because they "paid more." It is unacceptable for a hotel to treat its guests differently based on the rate they paid. This was not a problem with breakfast, which was already included and paid for, but rather a lack of respect, poor communication among the staff, and a condescending attitude towards the customers. This is definitely not the level of service I expected.

Hotel well located near the sacred heart, car parking available on reservation, welcome, pleasant staff, small but clean room, well equipped. Good value for money. Comfortable bedding, very small bathroom, moderately functional but clean. Basic breakfast, varied products but medium quality.
