DE LA TULIPE HOTEL

Booked a 2 queen room, I’ve been a long time customer. Upon looking at one of the beds, we see there is blood on the sheets. This is the second time this has happened to me at this hotel. We called the front desk to get it changed and when the house keeper came to change the sheets, she realized that the sheet she was about to put on also had blood on it. She then had to go find more clean sheets. Upon checking out, I was asked how the stay was. I informed the lady at the front desk about how the stay was not that great, and explained the situation about the sheets. All she had to say was “it was changed, wasn’t it?” Totally missing the point of how it ruined my stay. Very rude customer service and definitely not a very clean hotel. Due to how rude the lady at the front desk was, I didn’t even get to mention the room service issue we had. We had ordered room service which was just 2 desserts and some ice cream. We were quoted 25 minutes. When we got our food 45 minutes later, we realized that there was no ice cream which we paid extra for. We called the front desk, and by the time they sent it up, we had already eaten the rest due to the long wait. This hotel used to have great service but it has gone downhill for sure. Do not recommend.

I know you can't book this hotel, because I have walked past it several times this week (staying at the nearby Hotel Amelie) since it has been completely gutted! I can only hope it has been bought by another hotel and is being renovated and will return. But for the moment, find another hotel: this one's toast!

This hotel is located in the heart of Paris in the 7th district in a very quiet area. Walking distance of a lots of museum and restaurants and store. The owner is amazing and really helpful. They can provide very trusty taxi to go to airport. Morning breakfast is just as delicious as the decor. Top of the top, we could see the Effeil tower from our room. Highly recommended for a romantic stay or even family they have only one room for 5 peoples.
