HOTEL PARIS BRUXELLES

Do not go there! Photos are non-contractual. Dirty, broken shower door, mold, uncomfortable bedding. Requests are not taken into account, except for the cleaning of the two fans (so dirty that we did not dare to turn them on). Hotel under construction, dust, flickering light in the hallway (like a strobe light!!!). Horrible experience.

Even though the hotel was a good price. The staff being friendly, good location to where you needed to go, clean towels provided and bed made. However..... The hotel was not like the photos. We were neglected in knowing about a construction that was being done to the hotel. Our room was so hot, even after turning the heating off and with a fan and windows open, it still felt like an oven. The carpet was so bad, you could see the thick dust under the radiator. There isn't enough room to hold your luggage. When plugging things in and out, I was not expecting the socket to come out with me. The bathroom, where do you even start on that. It felt claustrophobic for one. The lighting was poor especially with only one working light. There was an obscene amount of mould that made us feel ill. There was sellotape on one of the pipes in the bathroom. Pretty sure that is not safe. The room had a strong smell of cigarettes. We were near the top of the hotel and needed to use the lift. The lift was so small, not even sure how 3 people can "allegedly" fit in there, not to mention how it wasn't working on multiple times. At times, there were other guests, who were not considerate in noise levels

Kind staff and next to everything, but very poorly insulated inside and outside, very noisy, no storage or place for business: result suitcase open on the floor, toiletry bag on the floor. Not enough hot water at night. And not warned that the breakfast room is under construction, so forced to go out for breakfast.
