Istria St Germain Hotel

Lovely boutique hotel - everything was perfect from the time we arrived. Room and entire hotel was immaculate, the bed dreamy and the best breakfast in Paris- croissants, fruit, yogurt, … exceptional selection. We were warmly welcomed- we highly recommend and would stay there again. Excellent location- close to Jardin de Luxembourg, close to the subway and close to excellent restaurants- one right next door where I had a yummy leek quiche.

We were with a group of friends in Paris, staying at Hotel Istria. The strong point is definitely the excellent location: the metro is less than two minutes away on foot, and it is possible to leave luggage in the lobby even after returning the room. Unfortunately, the rooms were not cleaned, and the bed was never made during the entire stay. In the bathroom, the sink was practically nonexistent (it was even difficult to brush my teeth comfortably), and the showerhead was fixed: one was forced to hold it in hand the entire time if one did not want to get their hair wet. There was also no shower cap available. Despite this, upon our arrival, the room was clean and tidy, with a minibar as well. We did not take advantage of the breakfast because it seemed expensive (€14.00 per person), and we preferred to go to different places each morning to try the famous croissants. All in all, the experience was positive, without praise or blame. If I were to return to Paris, I would probably choose this hotel again.

Hotel close to Montparnasse train station and Raspail metro.Good location. Room small, bathroom too small.Nothing to put his toilet bag c is a shame.There is a hairdryer,a small kettle.The bed is comfortable,you can hear no noise from cars but many neighbors from other rooms.For a short stay.
