Shangri-La Hotel Paris

Had a meal at Maison Roland which was superb, also had a cocktail in the bar. Beautiful experience, wonderful staff who did everything to make it a special experience.

As always lovely staying at Shangrila Hotels! Staff are welcoming and make you feel at home. We had a brilliant time staying for the weekend, the Paris location is accessible to metro and Eiffel Tower. Don't forget to have breakfast or lunch at the Maison Roland, staff are all amazing.

MAISON ROLAND Very bad experience, totally unworthy of an establishment located in a palace. I had reserved a table a month in advance for an important family event. Upon our arrival, we were informed that our table was ultimately inside, whereas we had reserved thinking we would enjoy the terrace, prominently featured in the photos. The most shocking is the attitude of the staff: I was told, with much bad faith, that I had been called on the same day to be informed that we would not be on the terrace. This is simply false. I never received any call, and when I asked them to prove it, they were unable to do so. The operation is actually very misleading: the photos clearly make you want to book for the terrace, but it is absolutely not guaranteed. The seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, without this being clearly indicated at the time of booking. Booking a month in advance is therefore pointless. For a restaurant belonging to a luxury hotel, this lack of transparency, bad faith, and management of clientele are simply unacceptable. We left extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this establishment.
