Bastide de Tourtour

We chose the bastide for our annual romantic weekend without our 2 little girls. It was wonderful, the setting is breathtaking with this view of the valley, you enjoy it at every moment, in the turret, the restaurant terrace, the spa, and the pool. It was very quiet despite a gathering of a Polish group because several areas are set up in the 4 hectares of the park to fully enjoy the tranquility. We had dinner at the restaurant with a discovery menu with appetizer, main course, and dessert for 45e, excellent value for money with semi-gastronomic dishes. Everything was excellent. In the late afternoon, a server offered us cocktails by the pool, the menu offered was varied and very well prepared. We were lucky enough to enjoy the jacuzzi for 20min the evening of our arrival and the next morning alone, it was royal. We had taken a standard room but very well located at the end of the hotel with a view of the spa, so very quiet. It was very comfortable. The staff is very discreet and attentive. The breakfast is very well stocked for all tastes! Cake, waffles, pancakes, cereal, bread, and quiche, fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, eggs, cheese! Nothing is missing!! Finally, the country house is ideally located at the end of the village of Tourtour; in a 5-minute walk, you land in the authentic narrow streets that you absolutely must take a detour through before leaving! Being from the region, we will most certainly return and will not fail to recommend this idyllic place.

The place is wonderful, the welcome and service a little less so. No coffee maker/kettle in the room. No duvet, it’s a throw blanket. The policy requires €25 per night for a dog, which is not specified on Booking, and your pet will have neither a bed nor a bowl at that price; it’s disappointing. The breakfast is rather decent; it’s a shame that coffee is not served and that there are no cut fruits. Finally, the restaurant fills up quickly, so if you didn’t think to book, you have to find an alternative to dine elsewhere; that’s mediocre for a 4-star hotel…

We had a wonderful time in this exceptional place. The exterior and interior are very beautiful, it is clean, and we are well welcomed. The pools and jacuzzi with the magnificent view are amazing!! The green (golf) is very pleasant. The breakfast is very good. Only downsides: the view of the parking lot from our room and the dinner which was not up to par because the dish arrived very, very late and they forgot the glass of wine. Everything else was perfect.
