Hotel Mignon

Luckily we only stayed one night. Sofa in the room full of dust, carpet still on the floor, full of dust. Suffocating. In the middle of the night the air conditioning stopped, in the morning we discovered that it had stopped in the other rooms too, they surely set a timer, the manager didn't even apologize. Lastly, payment was supposed to take place at the property, but instead, on the morning of arrival, they charged part of the amount to the credit card without notifying us. Negative experience..

Pleasant, air-conditioned rooms, a good breakfast with fresh, homemade products, welcoming and helpful staff: I will surely return!

We were very glad to have stayed here. Staff are friendly and speak English well. The hotel is very quiet and we slept well. Rooms can be small, especially your private bathroom, but we got used to it. Kettle and tea and coffee are provided in your room. We could open our window wide to set our chosen ventilation level. Breakfasts are large and enjoyable, including eggs and excellent home-made yoghurt. The location of the hotel is truly perfect. You’re very close to the central Place de Horloge where there are many outdoor restaurants. All the main Avignon sights are easy walking distance. The visit-worthy Calvet art gallery is just a few doors from the Mignon. Even the Avignon Centre Rail Station, a little further away, is an easy walk. The well-preserved historic street, where the hotel is located, is occupied by many small, discreetly chic clothes or jewellery shops. Their shop window displays are often works of art which adds enjoyment to walks to and from the hotel.
